Intercessors…. and anyone who will pray. We need to cover our men as they face resistance to rising up into their true identity in this hour….
God has been speaking to me in a steady flow for the last few months about men who are called to be set apart to prayer in this hour, who will rise up as champions for the Lord.
Last things first….. I received a call to sound an alarm last night in a dream, and then this morning through Jeremiah 4. This scripture is a call to prayer.. it ends with..
“I hear a cry, like that of a woman in labor, the groans of a woman giving birth to her first child. It is beautiful Jerusalem gasping for breath and crying out, “Help! I’m being murdered!” (NLT)
When I was in labor with my first son, it was hard. He didn’t seem to want to come out and my body didn’t seem to want him out! Yet, it had to happen. After 10 hours of labor, I was tired. My doctor asked, “Are you quitting?” I replied, with a tiny glimmer of hope for reprieve, “Is that an option?” He said. “Nope.” So, I rested a moment and then resumed pushing. In the end, a man was born, a little tiny man, but a man all the same…. A child who would one day take on the responsibilities of work, family and life, who would need God’s strength and much prayer in the 22 years as the battle is hard for our sons, fathers, and husbands.
SOUND THE ALARM
Last night I had a dream that I needed to lay over a man who was laying on the ground about to be attacked by another man who was totally evil, so I covered him with my body and let out a loud, ‘NOOOOOO!” Until someone else came in the room who would partner with me in knowing this was WRONG!
A week ago, I had a dream where I went on a prayer conference weekend, but all the people I went with were MEN. I was the only woman and we were all in a hotel checking in, set apart in another location to dedicate time to prayer. I was all of a sudden sort of stunned that I was with ALL MEN.
God is calling men to be set apart. Mighty men of prayer with single focused dedication to him as they lead their families, in their workplace, in the world.
“Come to me, all you who are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Pray that for our men, that they come to him and lay their burdens down. “He makes us to lie down in green pastures,” in quiet places where he can be found. Come away with me and learn from me, says the Lord.
As God is rearranging our world, he is restoring proper headship. Jesus first, that’s our primary cry, but then mighty men like David, like Jeremiah, like Daniel, Calebs and Joshuas, who don’t cave in to the pattern of the world, but who stand up and create a loud SHOUT together in the name of the Lord. The strong will lead the weak and show them the way. Pray for discipline for those who need it. Consistency. They will see what God sees and not shrink back. Fear and pride will not overcome them because humility will be their guide and fortress. They will wear the armor of fierce love.
I had a picture of a weight lifter. I used to spot men in the gym when I was young. They would get “stuck” while trying to break through to a higher weight level. It sometimes only took ONE FINGER from each of my hands to help them lift the bar past that sticking point until they accomplished the mission. This is what intercession is. God is convicting our men right now as he has called our families home under his headship.
Father, let our families fall into alignment and let the disciplines that need to be established come forth in our households. Disciplines that build strength in families. Rise up the strong who will help the weak and model consistent patterns of discipline. Build discipleship in families and models of discipline, Godly discipline in our workplaces and government. Lord, we agree with your rearrangement and lift you as the head. Let everything and everyone fall under your order as your government increases on this earth. You are calling them men to rise up, and to bow down. Now is the time! It’s time! (Song) “Come let us worship and bow down! Let us kneel before the Lord our God our Savior. For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of HIS hand.”
All things are possible with you God. In a nation where so many are in a fatherless state, who have lived fatherless, you are rising up FATHERS in our homes and societies. Thank you! God, give men real strength now. We agree and cover them. We let out a shout of HELP for your intervention in every battle men are facing right now. Heaven, come to their aid and break the pattern of the evil plots against them in Jesus’s name and by the power of his blood! We will not stand for any scheme of the enemy against the men in our lives and say “NO you will not prosper” to all forces at work that mean to destroy those who may currently be in a lying down position, under the weight of life, feeling weak or distracted in their mission of life. “NO”, I say. I call for heaven’s armies in assistance to accomplish this plan of salvation for the men of our nation.
Restore Godly order and heal men who have been emasculated by women and by our mixed up culture. Teach them graceful strength and TRUE humility. Lord, heal their wounds and heal the battle scars. Give them your grace right now to stand up in YOUR strength, to STAND and lift their eyes to you. YOU are the glory and the lifter of our heads and in your strength they can lift the load of life to you. They can lift the load of their families to YOU and you will help as they worship and bow down in public for all to see. It’s time to raise up a new generation of men who are strong in the Lord and unafraid to see their weaknesses. It’s in YOUR strength, Lord. Come as LORD and refresh our men, our young men, our boys. Lift them up.
Help us discover who we are Father. We honor you as Creator. Recreate us in your image again. Clear the scales from our eyes so we can see what “in your image” looks like according to YOUR perspective. Restore and rebuild who we are in this nation. One nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for ALL. Cover us in your blood right now Jesus. Cover our households, our businesses. Preserve our income and safeguard our assets. No stealing allowed. You have provided and will provide. We trust you God and PLACE ourselves in your hands. Amen. In Jesus’s name.
